What is this

This covers an unsupported solo bike ride from Rockhampton near the Central Queensland Capricorm Coast to Mudjimba on the Queensland Sunshine Coast. The trip is over 8 days in late October 2013 covering 660 kilometres with approximately 3000 metres climbing. The route starts on the Bicycle Australia Capricornia Cycle Route at Rockhampton and follows the Burnett Highway through Dululu, Biloela, Monto, Eidsvold to Gayndah.  Leaving the Burnett Highway at Tansey, the trip heads east to Gympie via Kilkivan, then through the Noosa hinterland to Mudjimba.  The equipment is a Cannondale "Lefty" hard tail mountain bike towing a home-made single wheel trailer, 3 T-shirts,  3 pairs of shorts, some undies, bike shoes and a pair of thongs (for going out).

The trusty steed.
